I can't say for sure if the 12 valve Dodge that won is really streetable or not. He did pretty good on the mileage test, 19 something I think. I know that the 2nd place common rail is streetable. He drives the thing quite a bit and even uses it to tow trailers and stuff for his business. I'd say they were both at least as streetable as Nick's built motored Dmax.I'd like to note that this is purely my typical "Dodge Sucks" smacktalk, and not a tech discussion...
Were all the trucks truly street trucks and not "shop trucks"?
I think the California Dodge is 100% real deal, but I really don't know.
I remember last time I ran against a Street Dodge.
It could not travel further than 1/4mi at a time, and needed an assistant with you to start it.
From what I've seen in person, a 1000HP Dodge at the same weight is equal to a 700HP Duramax.
