Ah, with those on the table now, perhaps its time for happy hour to begin, if it hasnt already.
I just wanted to clarify, since I reread my post and it isn't really clear. The 1st place truck was still running nitrous, just not 3 stages. It was a single stage, and I don't think it was a huge amount as he said he was turning it on and leaving it on as he pulled up to the line to help his turbos light. Thanks for the clarification Josh- When I saw the 1st place truck in person he was running nitrous still. I also reckon when he was in Diesel Power mag sometime last year, he was still running it. Not sure how long ago that was though. Impressive truck none-the-less.
I'm not 100% sure on his dyno numbers, but I believe they were 89x hp and 14xx tq.Oh, and Josh, do you know what #'s Al put down on the dyno at the challenge?
I didn't think you were laughing at Nick. I figured you meant it the way you explained it. I was talking about this:And it was funny to see Nicks truck in my hometown on the way home from work without knowing what the hell was going on. Not laughing at failure, everyone fails. I didnt say I think it is funny that he broke his shit, just funny that I saw him in Reno, on my way home from work in a half stupor with my ears still ringing from all the equipment. Take it easy guys this isnt the dieselplace...
. . . and the one I saw spit its drive shaft at Bakersfield haha . . .
I tried talking him into bolting in a bottle, but he wasn't having any of it.I wonder what Robs truck would run on N2O?
