Cool I was thinkin that they fit through sending unit hole for some reason. If not ED is right with cuttin the slots that would work pretty good and minimize the amount of slicing and mess.

Trent, is your sump centered on the tank or is it slightly to the side towards the body? It doesn't look centered with this pic. If you get a chance would you mind posting a few more from different angles :D

Does anybody know the return rate from the Fass to the tank, we're tinkering with the idea of using a drawstraw to the bottom of the tank for the return rather than the filler neck :D

depends on the return rate pressure I would think, although looking how the filler neck is just shooting fuel in from the top :thinking2: using a big hole, returning the fuel with a 1/2 inch drawstraw might increase velocity.......good thing I have a new tank with no crud in it to experiment with :D

I talked to the guys from Airdog at RPM Fest in LaPorte Indiana and they have come out with a revised system that has a sump type pick with a trap door to keep fuel in the basket when it sloshs away. We have installed their units on a few trucks and the straw setup is terrible :( Not sure if the info will help but thought I would throw it out there :)

68Skylark did most of the install, I just helped "a little" :D the hellman is mounted sorta inthe middle of the tank towards the driver side more so, the drawstraw return is on the flat part on the top of the tank.
