If nothing changes, a nv4500 with a ProFab 3 speed kit is gonna be the way to be competitive on a regular basis... It's like anything else in the sport.
Well that's end result actually haha. If you have it sitting there why not? But if you were to go out searching I would skip the zf
i'm trying to get outa the hole harder spinning the tires crazy on hard stuff my truck is a little lazy the first 50-100ft on hard tracks
i have a zf and a trippe disc sitting on the garage floor you guys aren't helping me with weather to stay alli or not....
I'm supposed to have one some too... From a wrecked donor truck.
Youtube Matt gainer's truck or Rob hall's truck. Neither one have a problem "blowing the tires off" on a tight track off the line. I know Matt was running air to air back in the day with what we now call small exh housings but I don't think Rob was. IMHO I don't think you have a advantage with a zf over a allison. They both wiegh about the same. I would go with a high stall tc and stick with the allison.
brion winthrow bought matt's truck and put a stick in it...
Is it still a puller rich?
No Mark said its a street truck somehere in Ohio now brion built that eclb truck after running Matt's truck for a year or two last I knew it was black now
Ok, i was wondering what you were getting at. Because Brion's silver EC LB truck he bought from us and hauled straight to Broviak's. He converted it to a ZF, too. He sold it supposedly closer to PA now. Hopefully we see it.
