Do the higher stall converters drag the rpms down some when put in gear like a stock converter does or not. The one that's in my truck now drags the rpms down about 100rpms and have to have my foot on the brakes firm to keep from moving.
A high stall precision does not in my experience. How long since your trans was refreshed? Only other thing could cause you issues like this would be a valve sticking trying to apply the converter.
Same here, have seasons on our 1055 always worked well, going to a 53-1 now hope its not gonna bite me in the A$$!!
