We have friends all over the globe:D, where do u live?

I guess I never put a location in my CP. I reside in CT. Not looking to derail this thread and mostly just being a smart ass. :D

Simon might be a great guy, don't know him but Ben I do and he's a smart 'kid' (me being a old man) and I applaud his accomplishments.

Seems like Simon has the rag on for him. So Mike_S has filled the gap.

Good luck to Ben and his widgets. Good or bad he's a stand up guy.

Peace out

PM me for a price quote on a custom-configured box.

I asked Ben a legit question of has he tried it on a high hp truck? Shame on me! Ben has yet to try this on a 750 plus truck and I'm curious to know the answer? That is what I asked.

Untill Ben proves his shit I'm skeptical and that is what I posted
do u have any valid info to add?

Really? How

Slipping creates friction so the faster it locks the less heat that would be generated, well thats the way I look at it anyway

yea but pressure = friction = heat....less pressure over x time will probably make the same amount of heat as a lot more pressure over a shorter amount of time...

the difference is with the longer time it has more of a chance to dissipate....

least thats my train of though

You are still ending up with the same final apply pressure. ;)

So if it takes half a second to ramp up from unlocked to Xpsi locked....theoretically thats going to generate about half as much heat as it would if it took 1 second to go from unlocked to X psi locked. Im sure some engineer (dave?) will come in and split hairs and throw out a bunch of equations to say that im an idiot and thats not how it works.

But the fact of the matter is, quicker apply, less heat is generated. Just think of the clutch on a manual transmission vehicle.

eh, no offense ben but i dont see a lot of similarities between a TC and a standard clutch...least in the way they're cooled. and you can damage manual clutches by dumping them a lot

im not saying your wrong just thinking aloud....

mind if i ask the price difference between the generic boxes and the custom ones? if you dont mind shoot me a PM with price for one and a V2 mount...

Hope nobody gets offended here but I have access to many if not most of the High HP trucks.

There are three twinned trucks that the box can be tested on and any skepticism put to rest. One LLY and Two LB7's

Ben,

I am away for the next week but I can make some calls and get you two HIGH HP twinned LB7's to test the lock-up box on, if it works as you say it does you'll have two sales and all the doubts will be put to rest. The other truck is in Canada but he would be a great test truck as well.
