have you done a compression test yet? we are dying to hear what/how it is:happy2:

I was really suprised when i tore it down , everything looked really good , no signs of head gasket problems ect . I wonder myself but refuse to do it because i dont want it to sway my desiscion making , this thing is going to be run for broke in OCT for the NHRDA finals . SO far the balance rates are perfect , no smoke on start up or when cold so who knows . I have a spare motor on stand by if it goes so we will just have to wait and see , for all i know it could pop on the dyno this weekend :dontknow:

there are others who have put alot more power through stock motors than myself, the most notable are CAMOMAX ,Buck, and a few others , CAMOMAX's truck has taken a ton of abuse so far, its really quite impressive .

Well boys and girls, the good news is that this thing flat a** flys on very little fuel , and EGT's seem to be down 100 deg also but have to see how fast the tune runs before i can say for shure if that 100 deg drop is acurate , right now i am not even hitting 1200 deg ( 1150-1175) :D.

The bad news is i have pressure in the cooling system so i think one or both of the cups didnt seal , for all i know it could be the head gasket, dont know for shure , have to pull the glow plugs and see if any coolant is getting in the cylinders . I am going to run it regaurdless this weekend , I rigged up a coolant catch bottle :D I will just have to fix it later :(

Well , my thoughts were correct on that it was making alot of power on very little pulse width , at the track last night ................. i wasnt able to run all night because of the coolant issue , I covered the track( coolant) so had to call it quits but put down 3 runs on my 1950 pulse tune and ET wasnt good ( 11.9) because i could spool on the line ( bad MAP sensor come to find out :( ) but my trap speed was 114.7 on that tune with nothing stipped full interior and even tailgate on  , I wonder what it will do today on the dyno with 2750 :D

Told you to put a bigger catch can on:D
That seems good for a 1950 WOW:happy2:

SO you couldnt spool because of the map sensor? That was a typo right?

I hope it went well on the dyno tonight,,,,Awaiting the results :coolspot:

yes that was a typo , the computer isnt seeing any boost , when i log it the #'s dont change, it was stuck at 4.5 Psi , I couldnt get the computer to cammand any more than 60 mm3 no matter what i changed in the tune untill i was about 20 feet out of the whole i had all 4 slicks bolted up and was getting 1.8 60 ft's , same tune as far as limmiter tables i have always ran . See dyno forum for results :coolspot:
