I would try and pressurize the fuel system from the tank and check for leaks.
Follow all the hoses under truck and look for kinks, twists, anything out of the ordinary.
No sense in throwing 2k worth of parts at it just to see if that's the issue.
If it will only start if you prime the filter head......how are you guys deducting injectors?
the filter doesn't go directly to injectors....it goes to the pump then injectors. The system does not store pressure in the lines when shut off.
It is some sort of air leak before the pump, more...
When I have mailed turbos out, I always spend the extra 10-15 bucks and get a tupperware container and paid it solid, then drill holes in lip around and put 20-ish zip ties holding it together. Hasn't failed me yet, and easy to carry.
All of the choke collars I have ever used were worthless. Didn't stop the pulling, only made it hurt the animal.
We switched to a collar which has an attachment like a muzzle. but if they pull, it actually pulls their head in opposite direction. That worked very well on our current 2 lab...
You would have good luck with any of the Directed brands....ie viper, autostart, clifford....etc
never had any issues with Viper or Clifford. Havent tried any of their other brands though.
