    Ive never checked the compression. I hope its ok. This really isn't the truck that I wanted to build the motor in. When I started it after work today it smoked like a champ. Now that it's warmed up I can't see any smoke or smell raw fuel.

    If there was fuel in the oil i would think it would have been knocking or spun a bearing by now. Are the glow plugs powered by batter voltage? I could see if they're receiving 12 volts when the key is turned on

    I put new glow plugs in it last week. No improvement. I would think they are working because there seems to be a draw on the charging system when first started that isn't there after the engine is warm

    Whenever I cold start my truck below 45*F it runs like crap and will leave a dense white/blue smoke trail. After it warms up it doesn't smoke at all and runs fine. It's been doing this the past 2 years. 03 LB7 109k on it Still runnig the Original injectors Oil level is perfect Coolants...

    I've been looking at these also. I'm gonna contact them about what it would cost to get a 6" raised neck and a Deck on the neck so we can hangout up there and watch the pulls. I'm also gonna mount a job box up front to store weights and tools.

    Here's a pic of a16' trailer my friend let me borrow this year. It's way to small but it got the job done. There was a pull that day but i didn't go because we got 2' of snow the day before. Hahahaha I'm in the market for a 30'+ gooseneck or Tagalong for next year.

    I would make sure whatever you use for a plug is the same length as the glow plug minus the tip.

    Looks mint man If your keeping the chrome side moldings I'd run a set of escalade handles. If your removing or color matching them I'd run Tahoe/suburban handles. A couple years ago I got a set of 2 gm color matched Tahoe handles for mine for under $100
