    Data Logging Race Truck

Cheapest Bosch standalone would be 10-11k with the dataloger. No way to control the Allison with it either. Friend of ours is having good luck with the cts2 as far as dp vs boost and everything else. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Pinned oil pump

Figured this would be of interest for a lot of guys on here. I've been using Wagler's pinned oil pump on engines lately. They take a new GM pump, shim it for more pressure, and then machine it and the gear for a pin. I can not report on the pressure results yet but it looks like really good...

2012 Lml Silverado 3500 HD front brake question

You could remove the caliper and tie it up, then put wheel back on and try again. This will verify if it is the brake system or not. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    LLY: F*****G brake lines

I have had many trucks blow a line while doing an automated bleed after replacing a caliper. Just when you think you're ready to back the truck out finished....

LMM: Super damper install, socal af cam questions

If you do not want to pull heads(understandable) you could pull the pushrods and flip the motor over on the stand. The lifters will fall away from the cam enough that you can exchange the cam this way.

    LLY: Precision gen2 6870 vs fleece 468/87/1.0

Wagler pushed those precisions in a package with their twisted pedestal and cast intake. I think i recall them working with fleece?? on the dyno with one.

    Seriously?

Bad but better than expected. Bad but better than expected. It'll take a paintless dent repair guy a day and I'll have to wetsand a bunch. It will not be perfect but won't be awful. Perfect time for a wrap! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Seriously?

Should of called you before starting.... Just kidding. We lifted it off with those 4 straps over the winter and it was just one of those cases where I was in a rip to get it done. The cab is empty but it's still pretty heavy! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Seriously?

Heres one of our own blunders. Thought we'd slam the cab back on before work this morning. Straps broke as we were rolling the chassis under. See the hole ripped in the trans tunnel? That's what hit the corner of the weight box and then it rolled on its side. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

By the looks of all the fasteners and the rtv application, nothing would surprise me. Member on here bought the truck used and had to straighten bunch of stuff out to even get it to run. Then breaks crank first pass out. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

    Broken Crankshaft Count?

It's a stock crank but I haven't pulled the damper yet to see if it's keyed. Would not surprise if it wasn't. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
