They are actually really
Cool down to earth guys... They are like all of us and like to go fast. I think it's cool that they get paid by discovery to talk about racing (true or false) and then make their cars faster realistically with that payment. Down to earth guys though just doing their job...
If only you knew how valuable time is for me... you would understand why its a pain to have to come take the time out of my day (now on 2 forums) to explain the old worn out scenario.
Hell no we dont do smoke tunes... Here is the story on this truck we did forever ago..
I did her truck a good while back with 2 agreements.
A.) it would be in sema
B.) it would not run smoke/lope publicly with my name on it
She had to have the smoke/lope stuff going on for some type of...
Nice! You and Ruben are right there side by side then on duration and not toooo far off on times! Good to know... 2000uS with those injectors get it! Eric ran 10.3@145 with 2000uS at 6400 lbs
Feels like it was just yesterday staring at these images... Going nuts trying to figure it all out. No one will ever know the hours and labor that went into this, but looking back... What a stepping stone and what a learning experience. You never quit learning and knowledge gained is never...
Different OS have a slightly different hex structure... It's a lot of work to just map it out... But I'm sure they would map it and add it to their list of supported OS... I know they won't map it for another software, however. We have mapped in over 100 tables into the MCC stuff and continuing...
To read it takes a tool that you can get around 12k... The kicker is, once you have the read file.... What are you going to do with it? It is possible efilive may integrate it to where that OS could be mapped from the individual read... But not sure how they are doing it there.
Great work...
Yes a mini max will be needed... You can purchase tunes from me, or you can build your own tunes with MCC.
The mini max vin locks to the truck (as do our tunes) and can only work on that one truck. A addition mini max will be needed for truck 2.
We have done it all in house with tech II mostly. The LML hits its set points very well and have full fuel to 4400 Rpms at this point. It will do it every time. The mini max shows rail, timing, boost, etc... So that does me well enough.
Tried to call the shop truck was at today to help explain to them that they can do whatever they need to do, but was on hold about 3 mins and I had to go... 3 mins is unreal valuable at this point in time!
In the meantime, let the shop know the ecu is not locked and they can do whey ever they...
EGR can blow open under high boost.. For it to not do it in normal driving you actually not only have to disable it in the tune, but also set all the min/max thresholds to a spot where it never request to open.
