Big News LML EFI Tuning Support

So whats the difference in this vs kory Willis and his stuff?

There are a number of differences. The biggest will be the integrated scan tool. Tuning parameters are important, but measuring what's going on rather than guessing to assist in making changes is so much more important.

Throw in our commitment to A50 transmission support, along with the multi-vehicle per hardware (either FlashScan or Autocal) licensing scheme and you soon see the differences adding up.

Cheers

I'm sure it wouldn't be to hard to build a fooler for the dpf. Hopefully someone comes up with a DIY that way no one company can get nailed for our freedom!

While I'd love to get efi live for my lml, and i agree with everything you just said, if efi will not delete the emissions systems for US vehicles it will mean nothing to me and i will go with MCC

They won't be able to do dpf/DEF delete though

Yes we will. It's legal to DPF in certain regions. Our test truck lives 20 mins from us, and won't run unless we remove emissions equipment and we won't breach any local laws in removing all that equipment either.

What we won't do is blatantly breach USA federal law. Our and your opinions on the laws and law makers are irrelevant for this discussion, we simply need to be good corporate citizens and comply. Should you wish to have access to these parameters in the USA, either demonstrate your vehicle complies with current regulations, or lobby the relevant authority.

From my understanding. EFI Live doesn't offer deletes to people who live in the US if your truck is registered. What people are too dumb to understand is that if they want deletes that they live in Canada ;)

To EFI LIVE support.

If I did a read on a RACE truck/deleted LML.
And then I Accidently used that os to build a tune, then accidently installed it in my truck, would I be accidently deleted and plug up my dpf with soot?

I am just asking because a dpf is expensive and I do not want to have to replace it to continue to comply with emmisions regulations. I want to conserve my money to pay my favorite lobbiest on k-street!!:thumb:

You cannot read the LML ECM.

To read it takes a tool that you can get around 12k... The kicker is, once you have the read file.... What are you going to do with it? It is possible efilive may integrate it to where that OS could be mapped from the individual read... But not sure how they are doing it there.

Great work efilive... I know when we were flashing with it back in march and helping develop it was very solid, efilive did a excellent job there and I'm sure their tuning suite will be nothing less than awesome.. Still using efilive on a daily basis I can say first hand they have it together! More options means more business... More business means everyone with a LML going that much faster! I wish I had the time to help and what not on his development, however, time is simply not of the essence these days due to prior commitments!

Rock on everyone!

The guys that drag race jettas we do some work with a program to read the e17 ecm's. It is called eurodyne and they just solder 2 wires to the pcb board.
I was going to use their laptop to get my read.
It looks like the same ecm as in the lml when they were showing me.

I was hoping the efi live team would be so kind as to define the tables for me since you have already got that part done.

Different OS have a slightly different hex structure... It's a lot of work to just map it out... But I'm sure they would map it and add it to their list of supported OS... I know they won't map it for another software, however. We have mapped in over 100 tables into the MCC stuff and continuing to add more.. What we have added so far is enough for anyone to take their truck to the next level... I know at this point we can run the ECU on a test stand and it still fuel properly at 130mm3 and not care what is it is not there so limiters will be stuff I think no one will have to worry about regardless of parts added.

With efilive and MCC coming to play it is going to be one hell if a market for LML! To say I'm excited is a understatement.

There are hundreds of tables defined. What you are really asking for is can we provide a file conversion process to integrate your read into our software.

The answer to that will depend on the type of read, and the type of file output.

The guys who obtained the reads to begin with did it the hard way. One tester spent $10K on a file reader that didn't read enough critical data to create a usable base file. Expensive lesson.

At this point mcc seems to be the more viable option. just my opinion cindy.
I have been an efilive guy for a while.
I am not at all interested in defining hex code digging for limit tables etc.
I just want to have a nice gui interface I can set it and forget it!!!

Not sure if Im 100% on this, but the way I understand is that you might be able to get a deleted "stock" tune from Kory or someone (for a price, of course) and then tune/flash with EFI Live?
