Started my LMM yesterday after sitting for less than an hour and had a rattle/knock for 5-10 seconds after it started. Its at 58k miles. 4k on oil 3k on fuel filter.

Yes, it does it for just a few seconds and quits.
I just changed the fuel/oil/trans filters just a few minutes ago. Fuel filter was trashed. Still have the rattle, but not every start up.

From what I was told by another member, it may be from the oil pump as part of the normal startup. Once you start it up, watch the oil pressure and see if the rattle goes away once it hits to normal pressure. Mine does the same thing, the rattle happens when it's building pressure and goes away once its up to normal operating pressure at 60psi during first time startup of the day or sitting for a few hours.
That's what I've decided it was. My oil pressure has always been low, 15-20 at idle and it has never went over 50, I see 60 if its real cold
Mine has only done it three times so far that I have heard. Its only after its warm is the only times I've heard it.
