    Oh OK I guess I understand it's the "rules" meaning stock so even if it were a identical sized LLY turbo on a LB7 motor it isn't stock on a LB7. Do they really check vin codes and they will take your word for it that it is a complete LLY even tho it's a 01?

    How come you didn't just swap out the heads like others have done? Yes I know a little more to it then that but you know what I'm referring to. The LB7 motor seem to be the motor of choice. With EFI you could not run a very similar turbo on a LB7? Nobody wants a LLY except for Ben. LOL

    OH I thought you had a aux water separator for some reason. The factory fuel filter water separator isn't worth a crap IMO it's part of the OEM filter. Drain at the bottom or change the filter itself.

    Sounds like it, water is contaminating your system. The water separate isn't doing its job or needs to be drained. Also keep tank as full as possible to avoid condensation build up.

    Ratio is 2 cycle to what ever per gallon you feel like! :D Your probably good with a pint-ish per fill up.

    The 2001 had problems with the rail pressure relief leaking (driverside) giving your vehicle a diesel fluid bath.

    That's why I didn't like spacers well 2" anyway. I agree with the rubbing unless your at GVWR and it's a 110 outside and the asphalt is a ka-xillion degrees you've been driving for 10 hours you hit the biggest bump in the road you've ever seen and the sidewalls bulge ,ya maybe ! :D

    The best and easiest is to keep the power down no matter which one you use. You already hurt the transmission so it will get easier and easier to go into limp mode. Your best bet is return it to stock power and build your transmission.

    All 235 85 16's aren't the same either. Check tire specs. I ran a set a Michelin and they were or would rub. I ran a set of Cooper 235 85 16's and the space was near or the same as stock with the 215's. Then I ran a set of Firestone Transforce and the clearance with the tire aired up was IMO...
