Rods
Yea, I think the Crowers are the cheapest. The only way i could get my wallet wrapped around it was to hold a billet BBC rod next to a DMAX rod. The DMAX rod is a little bigger in section. That's why they cost 4 x's as much as the BBC rod.... 4340 steel is valued at $400 pound, sorry sarcasm...- MAXLLY

Intercooler which one???
Spearco, PWR performance, bell, search heat exchangers on google or another. Plenty to choose from. read about effiency and pressure drop. Lotsa different types for you. water to air and air to air. pretty trick liquid to liquid stuff out from the medical sector as well.- MAXLLY

maybe this will help. If they total the vehicle i believe they, insurance, is required to take an average of the vehicle cost from 6 local locations and pay you the average replacement value bases on those local sales prices. Generally they'll try and waltz through this if you let them.- MAXLLY

A little help requested.......
I like the clear 3-M stuff. The rino/rock guard stuff needs armor all or similiar after awhile, 2-3 years. I live in a hotter climate though. When and if you go with the clear 3-M stuff don't go to a car dealer, tint shop. Go to a commercial glass shop and tell them you want graffitti film...- MAXLLY

5,700 miles after my rebuild, I think I have a leak....
I hear ya! 7000lbs of rolling fury. Last time i tried to stop mine i stepped in trans fluid and hit the ground fast.:) Kinda like the ice you have to deal with. Good luck.- MAXLLY

prolly right, 2 guys 400 lbs no problem. We had a trans jack we used it. I guess if a guy is on his back, in the garage etc... He's just gonna have to suck it up and figure out a way. The greasy haired guys (1960's?) figured out a way to pull turbo 400's from under chevelles before we bumped...- MAXLLY

water should exit the hole in the bottom of the housing, no issue that i can see with the starter being out. Good luck- MAXLLY

be carful pressure washing. I don't know what it is but something gets wet and it doesn't idle right for 15-20 minutes. Never did figure it out but i think i got the FICM wet. What i have found to remove and strip the diesel/grease is home depot purple degreaser (over with the mops and...- MAXLLY
