    Lets Talk "Economy Tuning"

Ok well I get good mpg with my race tune if I keep out of it, which I can't lol. So lets discuss actual tuning for economy. I started with stock tune and lowered DES boost tables. Thats about as far as I went. Lets say you wanna add a lil timing. There a a few neg. numbers scattered...

P&R at DP is going nuts

Im still trying to help the people out over there when I can. Most of the mods hate me, I dont know why, but Some posts I read and I start shaking my head and feel obligated to help some out (when they start making mistakes). I really should just leave for good but IDK. I somehow get drawn...

    Suspension ideas...need input please

Exactly, except not a four link setup. Also see my scenario #1 in my last post what I think about the weight/force with a snubber. Also the pull bar woul have to be setup as a rear bite setup for us. Cal tracks dont have enough leverage to with our setup. I think you need at least some long...

Question: Truck useing oil after build

Tommy are you running Dyno or syn. oil? After it breaks in good and the rings seat nice, (which I guess should be about right now), it should start using a lot less. In my race motors (gassers) we'd break in with dyno before switching to syn. oil? How much is coming from the pcv hose, after...

    Suspension ideas...need input please

My idea is simple as a pull bar for our truck. A biscuit bar would be the same only have a bushing to absorb hard hits. Maybe even a shock on a biscuit bar. O an x-factor pull bar.

    Suspension ideas...need input please

With the Snubber Idea.... 1)Would the force of the frame coming down be greater than to force of the pinion rotating up? With the snubber close to pinion, will the frame force/load (travel) be so great, it causes the snubber to push the pinion angle down? 2)If the force of the pinion angle...

    Suspension ideas...need input please

I said it before and I will say it again.... Biscuit Bar. or a standard pull bar. I think it would work even better with traction bars. Wish someone would try it, I guess maybe I should just do it lol.

so they must have adjusted it so the rates are closer to -/+0? I can see that smoothing it out a bit but doesnt seem like the correct way to fix it. wonder what the rates were and what they brought them back to?

Question: Discussions of other website politics:

Sometimes it gets old, but I just skip over it unless I see like 43754234 pages then I raise an eyebrow lol. I think that in the long run its good to vent about it to people who pretty much understand. I dont think we need a new thread everytime someone gets a warning. Guess what I am...
