    4" pipe 4" boot, looks like the pipe is gonna fall in the hole huh! it lines up very nicely. In other words i didn't use the boots as alignment band aids! Wierd... naw it fits fine.

    We benched it i thought it was the easier way. Perhaps some with first hand experience trying/doing it in truck will pipe in. I can say the following with certainty. It's a big heavy cumbersome MF'r, 2 men will serve you well. Watch out for the servo/sensor (whatever it is) on the front...

    those are sofakingtrick!! My brother has 2 50's and a 110 and when its late or we're frustrated we take 'em around the industrial neighborhood on a "roost"... So theraputic to get the wind in your face! Fast enough to be fun not fast enough to get REALLY get hurt... nose wheelie gone bad...

    Had a Denali (6.0 all wheel) great in the snow, it ate the front dif in 13k miles for whatever reason (50K vehicle). They never did get the traction control light to stay off on asphalt. I still own a GM, die hard faithful. CTS-V is a sweet ride and i agree with you, fast as a raped ape...

    I made my own, sorry no picture. No way to make them serve intended purpose and look sexy doing it. Unless you have a back half truck, i think they atleast look integral in that setting. Look into Chris Alstons Chassisworks for some ideas. Good luck.

    I just got finished talking with Guy about this very subject... Man that Dude is smart and has alot of info/knowledge. He is running them in his truck as well, so may be able offer some guidance on tuning his product with EFI, always a bonus.:D Cost? No clue, been a year since i purchased.

    Heres a couple from the week before i started it, we ended up moving the ECM/TCM next to the driver firewall. BTW- the grill fits PERFECT... just a hint of what lies within. I think i posted these already? If so here they are again?

    Yep, but only by a few tenths wasn't it? The car it beat had 50 less HP and no supercharger though right? Based on the drivers statements was much harder to get around the course "square". It'll never be a BMW, sorry. My Bro has a bunch of 'em, some with 140K miles that do WELL over 130 MPH...

    Yep, I have a ways to go before I'm ready for anything serious. Run in, I don't like the way the oil cooling works, check balance rates, shocks, need a main relay for all the accessory circuits instead of flipping them on at start up, need to run the small shot to the intake, IC fan/temp...

    If a guy is depending on viscosity to retain bearing oil film IMO he's gonna be in trouble. I bought 15/40 DELO ($40), cheap ass crap, a guy is gonna screen and run a magnet through the first batch of oil to find bad stuff right... or is he gonna run the crap through the motor for 500 miles...

    Thanks Gents! It felt great... scary/exciting, you never know what might happen maybe a nut fell in the intake... bad clearance somewhere, whatever. None of that, just some smoke, a lope and a major leak. I wanna polish up some stuff and get it over and get 'er scaled n shocked.:D

    Started the truck on Saturday. little lopey. (2) leaks, 1 water 1 oil. Started on the 2 nd crank, never needed the battery charger. Could use a little less oil pressure.:rofl:

    how much motor are you dealing with? IMO- thats going to play the bigger part in selection. 500 hp is easier than say 700 hp. Trying to hook 700 in 2 wheel is gonna need more than a 10" slick. Need more info, please.:) EDIT- Hoosier makes a 34" slick on a 16" IIRC. ake a look at Jegs or...

    Hmm, personally i am not at that point yet. Thought somebody could be. i would personally cut stockers in half and section in a filler, order custom made rims from Centerline or another specialty wheel fabricator. In retrospec, this tire would be in line for a purdy serious 2 wheel drive...
