    Best way to do it is putting on the biggest tune you'll use daily, do a fast learn, drive it. Then if you want to drop down to a lower level once and awhile it'll be fine

    Looks like bad injectors what's the history on them? I don't know much about LB7s but isn't there wiring issues with the ficm that can cause erratic balances rates and sounds like you are hearing ? I wouldn't want to drive it with balance rates like those.

    Well the problem won't disappear on its own haha and if an injector keeps going in and out of spec I'd bet it's the Injector or leaking boost past the copper washer, or the wiring to thar injector.

    Try swapping injectors 3 & 5 see if the problem moves to another hole, if it does its the injector.

    That's what I'm thinking. My dowel pins in the crank for the balancer and oil pump gear were almost sheared at that mileage so we put new pins and a new balancer on. Wouldn't be surprised if the dowels are a factor in broken cranks aswell.

    I won't argue with you. I have been brought up with diesels since I was a kid and I've been taught to warm these engines up before driving them and I monitor my oil temp never letting it get much past 200. It's either how I've taken care of it or dumb luck 🤷‍♂️

    If it helps I've been on tune 4 for about 9 years and over 100k with a 72mm and 45overs. Added the 12mm cp3 last year.
