    You are correct. That is what the LML converter is rated at. You can run more tq as it is proven to hold 1K tq, but don't beat on it.

    The steel plate clutches between the frictions will rattle in the billet cover. Nothing to worry about, but in certain cases they can be irritating.

    Lml trans works off a different strategy and will not hold up to the early engines. The LML trans was built for mileage, not power.

    I wouldn't do the PR spring kit as the stock converter clutch will not like it. Also not a good idea to tear apart a trans with that many miles as you tend to shake up the system and start throwing codes.

    They are failing big time in stock form. Slight changes to our 10L1000 shift kit should work just dandy in the Ford 10R80.

    James pretty much knows as much as I do about the 10 speed which is a lot. We used his truck for testing and he was/is heavily involved with the project. Next project: Evan and I are going racing with a Ford F150 SC Coyote and 10 speed trans.

    Buy a new shifter for 50 bucks and be done with it. We replace these every couple of months.
