    Why no blowoff valves?

Waste gates and BOV's are almost mandatory on gasser turbo systems since the engine it self can only handle a limmited amount of boost and when you let off the throttle there isa throttle body that closes fully so barking turbo's is easier and more dangerous. On diesels it is not so simple...

If you pull the blower off Tim hit me up , my wifes car ( 2009 G8 ) could use some boost ;)

    Chevy1925 (James) Truck/motor build

I think the time it saves getting to all the grounds , and ease of removal of TC bolts , starter wiring harness , fan, ect makes up for the time it takes to pull the stuff out ( 30 minutes maybe ) , I would never pull a dmax motor with out pulling the rad , IC , ect the extra room to work is...

    Why no blowoff valves?

No not yet but maybe some day ,I imagine they are top shelf though , I use there waste gates in every kit we do that an external gate is required and they are def the best out there IMOP , I can get "tial" or "precision" gates for quite a bit cheaper but I still use the synchronic's , short of...

    Gtx42

Is it possible , yes but it is likely going to be spendy to make it a 2.6 with protrusion , the wheel is easy to have machined , but finding a GT42 based cover with a 2.6 inducer is going to be harder , I know Precision carries them but dont know if they can be purchased separately. Might be...

Tried setting up BBX, no PID lists to select in Scan and Tune

:( not sure if there is another way , no problem it took me a bit to figure it out too , if you get it working it is pretty sweet , especially being able to log ECM and TCM pids at the same time !!

    Why no blowoff valves?

I have done a few BOV's now with turbo kits , a few things to save you guys some trouble , first always install the BOV in the passenger side IC tube , if you install it pre IC they will fail from the heat , second they can leak past on high boost apps if thats the case a stiffer spring or...

Tried setting up BBX, no PID lists to select in Scan and Tune

Its a little hard to explain through posts , but did you hit the settings button in box where they all say un-used ? that is were you select what controller the pids are for / LB7 , LLY , LBZ , type of trans ect , after that it should populate the box to the right with just those pids , then you...

If your referring to the gear on the crank the reluctor wheel bolts to , you just have to pull the oil pump gear off then it slide on and off , if it wont slide you may have to get a little creative.

    Transmission cooler line questions

In cold weather it would take forever to get the trans up to operating temp . I deleted the cooler lines on my race truck , and run a huge ( the size of a radiator ) cooler and electric fans in the bed using an auxiliary circulation pump , it works great for racing but i would never do it on a...

    Transmission jack

The one i use is a Napa brand , it has worked great for 3 years now , I think if it was done right it would work making it bolt up but I think it would have to bolt to both PTO covers to be "safe" , but seems like a lot of work to fix something that isn't really broken , the trans jacks designed...

I was thinking the same thing Josh about checking for voltage or signal the box could be putting out , also what type of connector are you using to tap into it ? I have seen the "t" tap style connectors cut though almost all of the strands of copper and scew voltage reading before .
