    Thoughts on fuel pressure and timing for a mileage tune

    My city driving mileage hasn't really changed much, around that 13-14 mpg but the cruising mileage is 16-17 at best. I miss the 20-21mpg I could get fairly easily out of the stock turbo/injectors. Don't recall towing mileage being any worse, maybe better actually. I drive 50-150 miles a day...

    By sounds I mean you can hear the coolamt/air pass the valve when you squeeze the hose? If you can light squeeze the hose and coolant pisses outbof the valve, the valve is crap. They hold back like 16-18psi I think. Pretty stout squeeze if you are pushing that from the driver side hose!

    I have a LMM coolant reservoir in my attic...cheap! :thumb: unless you can get the valve, that would be easier. I haven't even looked at one

    So when you squeeze the driver side hose, is it soft? And as it compresses you hear the coolant/air pass at the valve?

    You sure the valve is holding enough pressure back? Maybe it's weak and opening too soon? Just throwing a scenario out there.

    lol, don't you put that on me James!!! Been talking to Josh, hoping to get the second CP3 on in the near future. trying to get it up to him to leave it until the world finals in Ennis when I can pick it up again. That way he can fine tune everything to his liking, it has to be tough for him...

    here's a video from the 12.3 run on the smaller tune. notice the duramax in the other lane, he had his torsion bars up and left in 4wd...broke a tie rod out of the hole. xsMo5L5dyR8

    does this look like bad motor mounts?

    The rubber in my driverside mount was shot back when we did twins. Josh had a new mount that bolted and installed. The old mount has a steel lip that will catch if the rubber fails, might as well change it and do it right.

    Rub it in a little!!! Lol I definitely think I can leave at 20-22psi. I just have spring clamps on the rear. It was unbelievable how smooth those tires launch compared to the 20's. Considering I cut a .2 faster 60' and still ran .08sec and 3mph slower last night tells me she was not happy...
