ok guys, i have been noticing that when i take off from a stop in my truck it feels like there is a lot of unwanted movement up front. it got a lot worse after a rough pull this past weekend. so here is a video of it. the first part is just reving it up a little and the second part is letting the clutch out a little with the brake on. any help is appreciated.

thanks guys. it seemed weird because at the beggining of the summer i clamped my springs, put traction bars on and pulled my t-bar bolts out and didnt really notice it all that much anymore. probably because my clutch felt like it was engaging a whole lot more smooth with the springs clamped. but i returned my suspension to stock today cuz im done pulling for about a month, and i noticed it seems a lot worse. im sure the beating it took this summer didnt help but im still blaming the last pull because it was ridiculous and im still mad about it :roflmao:

The rubber in my driverside mount was shot back when we did twins. Josh had a new mount that bolted and installed.

The old mount has a steel lip that will catch if the rubber fails, might as well change it and do it right.

what? never heard of this

lots of guys dont know that cause they have never played with poly mounting motors and such. it will add vibration to the truck, will it bug you? depends. i know it would sure as hell bug me so i bolted mine with a 9/16" grade 8 bolt a long while back. still goin strong

Just drill a hole in the mount and put a big grade 8 bolt though it. Costs about $5 and works just as well as the expensive ones. :)

X2 these worked very well for me for years.....only use a grade 12 the grade 8 will stretch

I box welded my motor mounts last time motor was out...but don't recomend for a dd
