    Air Compressor

For cheap compressors I have had good luck with Cambell Hausfeld compressors, some of which are re-branded Kobalt. New shop I am buying has a Quincy 30 and a Quincy 50 rotary in it so when my old 80 gallon CH finally gave up after 6 years of neglect and abuse in a full time shop I bought a...

    Built Engine Plans

So at WOT above 3700 RPM your boost and drive pressure stay 1:1? When I am comparing spool up I am comparing a max effort tuned stock turbo LLY/LBZ/LMM to the same truck with an S475 over stock on it. I have had customers buy the S475/stock kit, get it dialed in by me, have a few others try to...

    Built Engine Plans

I have driven S475 over stock with tuning from other tuners as well, such as Rob - who is one of the best at tuning that setup. I still say they spool worse than a stock charger by itself with race tuning. Up until the big charger starts to push air to the stock charger the 7mm exducer tip...

    Built Engine Plans

I have run an S475 or larger single turbo on my daily driver truck since 2009. I have driven and tuned cast, billet, bat, double bat, and TCT wheels. On my truck I have run cast 75/83/.90, cast 75/83/1.0, cast 80/87/.90, Double Bat 75/83/1.0, TCT 75/87/1.0, and billet 80/87/.90. I tow when I...

    Schaeffers "All Trans Supreme"

With the Moly-bond X-200 I'm not going for long oil life or extended changes, and with a big external oil cooler with it's own fan and a temp gauge I'm not so concerned about the hot temps that synthetics can hold up to better; I am using it because I feel it will hold up the best to the extreme...

    Schaeffers "All Trans Supreme"

As mentioned, I have used Schaeffer's All Trans Supreme in my transmission builds for over 5 years now. It's not an optional upgrade, it is what comes in every build. I have not had any problems with it when used with fresh Alto Red Eagle, GMax, or Raybestos clutches. I also run their 80-140...

    LBZ Engine Stripped

Duramax's don't come with sleeves but you can master sleeve nearly any engine. over bore it, pess a sleeve in, then bore it to stock, or whatever size you want.

    Big injector tuning

It's funny to think back to 2008 when people told me 100% overs in a daily driver was crazy/stupid/impossible... now we put them in stock turbo trucks somewhat regularly. My strictly DD truck that will never race or pull again and will only dyno to hit 1000 rwhp on a single pump, single turbo...

    Built Engine Plans

Machine work on block, keying, and balancing will depend on who you know and where you go - and can vary drastically depending on your area of the country. Around here it would be $1200-$2000. External balance in fine for a street/strip truck at 800 rhwp. Any Duramax crank in good condition...

    Bullseye Power TCT

Got the truck back together and besides the cut-out making my truck go from very quite to insane - it did nothing for my drive pressure. Didn't take it to the dyno yet, after talking to David at BullsEye I decided to send it back in for some changes. One option was to go to a 96mm turbine in a...

    Bullseye Power TCT

I am not using a SunCoast sleeved C2 hub, I was waiting on the full billet hub from Mike L - but his machinist was the delay. Now I have a few of the full billet C2 hubs in stock and one is in my trans, which should be going back in today. I sent a few core P2 planets and sun gears to SunCoast...

    Bullseye Power TCT

I tore up the converter in my truck the day after putting it on, then found twisted C2 hub/P2 planet splines that I'm not 100% sure were not there when I went through the trans before getting the truck back on the road. It hasn't had any tie ups at all so I'm thinking I caught traction during a...

    BD Intercooler

My general policy on intercoolers is not to fix them until they are broke. That said, we have seen quite a few intercoolers that were leaking after seaing 50+ PSI of boost for a while - if you blew out a stock one once why would you put another one in?

    BD Intercooler

you can't knock BD for it not fitting with your aftermarket parts - it is made to fit with stock parts. When you start mixxing aftermarket parts you will run into needing to customize some things. The trucks I've put BD intercoolers in never had the other clearance issue you mentioned.

finally got my wish (Pic inside)

Congrats to all involved with the project, tires up with all that weight is a feat. Love the truck. Can't wait to see your rail car project Mark.

Want the biggest single cp3 and still be streetable.

By the way, we have seen stock LBZ pumps fail in the exact way that Shane descibes on bone stock trucks and all. Ceramic check ball doesn't seat fully because a small piece cracks off and they pressurize the crank case and blow out the casting plugs. We've even seen them still run right...

    Injector Ratlle Question?

If you can get it to do it steady and then turn off one injector at a time through the DVT controls it will tell you if it is one injector or something in the tuning.

Want the biggest single cp3 and still be streetable.

I only recommend modded pumps when the rules restrict you to a single pump or 2 stock pumps isn't enough for what you are doing. I have a lot of guys running Floor It Stage 3 and Stage 2 pumps without issues, but we have had a few failures. John has always gone above and beyond to take care of...
