What did you do at work today?

Nope, those are the two zero miles LML's converted to LMM fueling. Build started before ya could tune a LML. One starts and runs. Other one needed some wiring and PS hooked up. Hope to see it on water early July. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

In Cocoa Beach for boat race this weekend, and hope to catch a SpaceX launch and landing tonight. While at the race pits, I noticed a couple R44's doing short tours. So the wife and I jumped in for a 20 minute flight around the cape and down the beach. Besides the Falcon 9 on the launch pad...

What to do with extra High Speed GmLAN lines

Are you getting any gauge data to the dash? Do you have access to a good scan tool like SnapOn or Tech2? Need to verify the BCM and ECM are speaking.

Where I live, in a van down by the river, has long been a training waypoint for fighters out of WP Dayton. So seeing faster movers come by a low altitude is fairly common. Back in mid 2000's, one evening I heard a jet go by and thought little of it. A bit out of their normal operating window...

Story of two renewable fuels. One is nationally mandated 15% blending into all streams [Ethanol], and the other, ya gotta know a farmer to find it. Or stop by Willie Nelson's truck stop.. That blenders tax credit was suppose to make the costs of Biodeisel cheaper at the pumps, so people would...

Ethanol is typically cheaper to produce, but since the Ukraine war, price of feed-stock, typically corn has shot up. And ya get into competing with human and livestock feed stocks now. This has always been a huge factor in Biodiesel production. And those industries do rely on subsidies...

Keep a filter handy, cause your gonna clean out those fuel lines on first tank. Then try rolling your own blends off that B90 to find what actually runs the best. Just beware high BioD blends eat natural rubber. Modern diesel trucks are typically compatible with high bio blends, but older stuff...

B20 contains "up to 20%" biodiesel in D1 or D2 base. So could always find a B10 blend, at the B20 pump. Sorta like E85 is never actually a true 85/15 ethanol blend. However biodiesel in general contains 70 times the lubrication factor of D1 or D2, yet zero Sulfur content. So any amount is a plus...

Glad to hear that. In the midwest and my travel areas, I can't even find B20 without using a locator map. A lot of the biodiesel geeks I worked with were all west coast based. There is a couple old articles where guys I knew out there took old school mechanical diesels in Toyota's and such to...

If your part of the class, it's surly gonna cover your ass while awaiting a trial date. I'm think injunction to halt enforcement actions until it's sorted. Which probably equals a couple years minimum, or long than SEMA has been farting around with DC lawmakers. I find myself setting back...

Kory is likely out, as recently settled his case, and now trying to have his tuning work EPA certified like Banks. So pretty certain he's not gonna be a spokesperson, but can probably spread the word. And speaking of Banks, god love him, a large majority of his sales comes from taking OEM...

On one of my long drives between OH and FL last year, I decided to let my phone read me about 14hrs of EPA case files. The simple answer to your question, is you sue the EPA. States do it, cities do it, big oil does it, power plants do, cause anytime they pick on a big dog, they get bit. And...

How much should I trust FASS filtration?

After producing and blending biodiesel for a decade, I'll say you can certainly dry it and run it safely. However without the right setup, it's easier said than done. Filtering it is easy, drying it, or making sure it's dry is a bit tougher. Best option, unless you have a hydraulic fluid...

Bare minimum of upgrade parts needed for longevity for a sub 700hp build.

Don't have anything handy to compare with. But would be an interesting real wold comparison wouldn't it? I only know that LB7 gear took out 6 CP3 gear teeth, sustaining only a single chipped tooth on the cam gear. Main point to me, it held up well enough as not to transfer any damage the...

Bare minimum of upgrade parts needed for longevity for a sub 700hp build.

Good eyes... The Callies came fully keyed, but I've always considered the keyway mod a "why the heck wouldn't ya", if the crank is out. Ike gets an A+ for catching the LB7 cam gear on the LBZ/LMM build. Cam is a Wagler stage 1. The LB7 gear choice came from my GM tech buddy who did the...

    Cracked Piston solutions?

I have to say I'm pretty dang satisfied with the Ultra Billets, Howards rods, and Fingers setups. Especially after initialing a 1380 Spicer slip yoke, and then chewing the teeth clean off a seized CP3 pump. Plus on first hard dyno pull, the brake valve slammed shut and brought that same engine...
