LBZ won't hold rail pressure at idle

I have a had several LBZs that the ECM had defaulted to commanding the last known good value and stayed like that until the wiring issue was resolved. The ecm will not always report rail pressure has maxed out when the FPR is unplugged. The OP needs to load test each part of the circuit from the...

Danville Stg2r Drive Pressure vs RPM's

There are several great machine shops in PA and OH that can take care of you. Miller Race Engines is not terribly far and would be my first choice in that area.

    E35B Post-Flash Issue - Am I alone?

Quick update: the truck without the CANbus issues that wouldn't start after the flash ended up being a coincidence also. Lucky me.. The UBEC panel had some loose female sockets and the DLIS circuit was open and there was an partial open in the power train relay circuit. Still haven't resolved...

    E35B Post-Flash Issue - Am I alone?

I've had over a dozen lmms in this past 6 months with broken wires in the body harness through the firewall to the fuse box. Some are beat, some are low mileage and well cared for, but none of those were data bus issues. On the truck I have with CANbus issues. I started with checking...

    E35B Post-Flash Issue - Am I alone?

Nothing aftermarket in either truck that I've found. Unhooking the batteries in one of the trucks didn't do anything, however, I went to the other one (the one with Canbus issues) and it fired right up first try today...so...yeah... It seems like either a CANbus issue, or weak immobilizer or...

    E35B Post-Flash Issue - Am I alone?

Yesterday I flashed 2 E35Bs, both flashed in a truck that has had successful flashes recently since the other truck is experiencing Canbus issues. Both Ecms flashed successfully, both were just receiving minor table changes. Now neither ecm will allow the truck to crank due to theft deterrent...

Who machines C3 apply plates these days?

So order some parts from Evan at Inglewood. You won't be disappointed, and you'll learn a lot faster than if you try and piece stuff together on the forum.

Good Shop in Oakland California area?

300 psi is low in my book, I'll put $100 on that being the issue. I have a lmm here that has been through hell. Owner was told by another tech that he needed injectors. He bought 8 garbage remans. Hacked them in. Still ran like crap, knocking, intermittent misfires. Brought it to me. Told me to...

The lines are slightly different from classic body to newer body styles. But yeah, fitment notes are usually pretty botched on these types of suppliers

Another option is to convert to a different tcm. ATS offers that option. CA conversions might be as well now, haven't talked to them in a while

    Transmission control module issue

Xemodex.com is repairing them for $1200. There have been a few positive feedback testimonials given by people. I have 7 cores I'm going to send to them and have done, and I know some other shops have a lot more cores than me they will be sending.

A proper diagnosis would have saved some hassle here. Im guessing you didn't check the integrity of the rest of the circuit while you had it apart?

COOLANT IN AIRBOX WHILE TOWING 5TH WHEEL : TRK TOOK A SH!$

They are cooled by coolant, however, it is a closed loop in the center section. My bet is that the coolant in the airbox is from the degas bottle overflow. The cause of the pressure in the system is what he'll have to diagnose, or pay someone to diagnose. MBS Diesel Performance is down that way...
