    From lifted to lowered

Well that would depend on how deep the shit was. If it was as deep as some of the shit in this thread, you may be right. :roflmao:

    From lifted to lowered

If you reread that is exactly what I said. Of course, if tire size is exactly the same between the two trucks then it is obvious the lowered truck will have less clearance. However, mine is lowered with much larger tires than stock. So, I have more clearance than a stock tire, stock height truck...

    From lifted to lowered

Fair enough, I'll take the extra 2.5" of clearance....just trying to show a point here.

Also, drop shackles don't mess with the factory hardware in any way...my truck will tow a trailer in the same manner a stock height truck would. Now if you were pulling leaves that is a different story.

    From lifted to lowered

I'm just saying that I have more clearance than a stock height truck and I am lowered. Take a stock Dmax with 27" tires or whatever comes on them...I have a 2" drop and 34.5" tall tires. So, 34.5" -2" = 32.5". So, I still have approx. 5" more clearance than a stock truck would just because of...

    From lifted to lowered

It's been done. I had a true 35x13.5 tire on a stock height classic body style with zero rubbing. My LBZ has 275/65/20 (34.5" tall) on it right now and the torsion bar bolts are removed and 2" drop shackle in the rear with zero rubbing.:thumb:

    From lifted to lowered

My truck is lowered just like the last 3 I have owned. They have all pulled trailers, been taken hunting, and continue to be used as a truck. They certainly aren't neutered just because they are a couple inches lower than stock. Ground clearance is determined by tire size not by suspension...

    From lifted to lowered

Lowering is the current cool thing to do. Lifted used to be in but it's working it's way back out of style. Truck looks great.

    shipping parts

I managed a shipping facility for a few years and shipping is like anything else...you get what you pay for. Good service and cheap price don't go together. At 100 lbs. a shot your gonna get hit pretty hard if you actually expect them to get there in one piece. Find something local.
