i was worried about that since i have had the box almost a year, but it spent the majority of the time without a motor so i never had a chance to see if it actually worked.
well i want to get the lockup issue adressed first, it locks and shifts fine in the small tune. i assume that is because it is locking under factory command, i dont think the lockup box is taking care if it.
This trans has no ats parts in it whatsoever, it was built off a stock trans. all new...
i called them this morning about it, the main reason was because i was weighing my options. I do also have a copilot, too many damn options but i just want something that will work. im tired of spending money and not seeing the results i want....
i understand your thoughts but fwiw, my motor had my original crank, billet main caps, girdle, half fill on the block, studs, etc. i had about 3 oil changes on the motor, it lasted about 3400 miles and just a handful of passes.
well still dealing with this crap, is my truck that unique that it cant be tuned right??
i changed a few things in this last build so the part throttle smoke isnt an issue but still wont shift. Im not even talking about the big tune, tried a few launches and i was only on the second tune...
It is kinda ironic how some will fight until the end saying elevation has little to do with how these motors run. its nice to see someone that is in agreement with me finally. My motors have been at 15/1, 16/1, and now 16.5/1 and each motor has been more fun to drive, less smoke and more...
you do not want to do a non gated turbo in compounds unless you intend on plumbing in an external gate. turbos are not hard to rebuild at all. if you have the coin i would do the billet wheel also.
