But since they are competition of his, are their opinions biased? I think of it like if someone stated that you or George didn't learn anything on your own, but instead learned everything from someone else or each other. It isn't true, nor is it relevant.:hug:
Jay from NH (1badmax) got one, it took a few months to get there (in october) but he said it works well
the only reason i ask is because they are the same price and ats is about 10 min from the shop so not difficult to stop by and get one. i dunno.
I would talk to Clint about it, from what I understand from the DPC, he designed it. I also understand it is very user friendly and well-packaged.
i called them this morning about it, the main reason was because i was weighing my options. I do also have a copilot, too many damn options but i just want something that will work. im tired of spending money and not seeing the results i want....
Delong barring a freak internal issue like brian had (torn apply) it should shift on the small and large tunes.
At elevation you might fight haze, and thats to be expected, but not shifting.

I honestly think it sounds like an internal issue with the trans. You still are using some ATS parts in it right Nate?
If you have a log of a nice hang on a big tune I'll compare it to Brians lol I have about 100 logs of the exact same thing. :rofl:
well i want to get the lockup issue adressed first, it locks and shifts fine in the small tune. i assume that is because it is locking under factory command, i dont think the lockup box is taking care if it.
This trans has no ats parts in it whatsoever, it was built off a stock trans. all new pistons seals, clutches, etc. it has been apart and checked a couple times for other reasons and everything looked fine.

i personally have to disagree with this statement. No offense to ben. I tested his boxes in house here at Suncoast. The 6 speeds worked FLAWLESSLY. 5 speeds however... Not so much. After 2 tcm's and limping the test truck home from pensacola (would not clear, locked in 3rd, - degree temps locked out) The ATS box i've had in my truck works perfect. No issues whatsoever. I can't speak for the ally locker, but if it's anything like their new tapshifter i believe it will be a great product
