    A good S475/87 from like Forced induction or CRT would get you in 1,000-1,100 hp range. You will need a loose converter, around 3k rpm.

    Finally got to made it to another pull, truck ran pretty good but seems to be hitting limiter and defueling at 4,500rpm. Good news the manual tensioner worked great and got 1st place out of 7 trucks in the open class!

    It's on the truck, but haven't got to run it at high RPM with Load on it yet... hopefully soon.

    I was thinking the same thing. If it's hopping, more than likely the axle is twisting back and forth. OP, post some pictures of your traction bars please.
