    The guy that did it had flow numbers for a stock head, intake was right around 180 cfm and exhaust was in the 150’s. I should have took a picture of it...

    Looks like Edelbrocks claims of 25% better flow than stock seems pretty spot on. I’m planning on doing some blending and radiusing the intake ports and will have them reflowed. I pretty sure they will be right there with the SoCal stage 2’s.

    I had a sleeve in my old built motor in my pull truck, never had a issue with it. Not sure on brand of sleeve it was.

    I went with the Wagler billet pump, it’s a very nice piece. I broke a welded pump and it ended up costing me a set of SoCal stage 2 heads...

    I bit the bullet and ordered a set of Edelbrock heads. Hoping to put them on a flow bench along with my SoCal stage 2 heads and see how they flow.

    I owned a 6460 cam and couldn’t find much info on it. SoCal told me it was the little brother to the 6480, that the 6480 replaced the 6460. The 6460 also require’s 050” valve reliefs.

    I’ve had good luck with Mahle forged in 2 separate motors, both 1,300 + hp.

    I'm not opposed to buying SoCal again, but really like a lot of the upgraded features of the new Edelbrock heads. Thicker deck, T7 heat treat, HIP casting, more coolant capacity and the elimination the injector cups on the LB7 heads. To my knowledge, Wagler does not make a street head anymore...
