If it gets tough to turn stop and back it out, clean the thread, add some thread cutting oil and go back at it...

    No they havent, and it still does it on a stock tune. Ambient temp was a tad chilly at 40* just gaskets, nothing else.

    has been for about a year. I would replace it but when the deer and I had a disagreement he did some damage. The entire plug for the light is shattered and they are hardwired in, I just havent gotten around to fixing it yet. Once I fix the rest Ill do it.

    it happens with everything though, the worst is when you put something back together and look over on the bench and see extra parts.

    ^^^your not the only one back when we did the 02 we snapped the tap too, we somehow fished it out with a magnet. The Simple 10 minute edge installation turned into a 4 hour job. I cringe everytime I am tapping a manifold.

    they didnt touch it, they knew to call me before performing internal repairs. IIRC there is a cooler in the radiator and in front of it correct?? Which one should I blow through?? Do i need to remove the trans at all or should I tend to the coolers first>??

    you can do this or drill and tap it with the motor running just makes sure to wear safety glasses. I know theres a lot of guys like me too who have done them without grease, magnets or running the motor. its really up to you. We did out 02 with no special method 5 years ago and it runs fine.

    he nailed it. the pass side is easiest to get at. just remove the wheel and fender liner, uses a 21/64 drill bit and an 1/8NPT tap, most guys do it at the rear of the manifold near where the upipe connects.
