Okay guys well ive decided that i will most likely be pulling the trans once more for a couple of mikes little tricks. and to just make sure everything is good to go for this season.

Since I am hoping this will be the last time doing this until next winter what fluid should I use.

I have been filling it with cheap ATF. okay very cheap ATF, Farm Oyl that i get from work as it is well free.99. It does meet all of the requirements but I really want to know from smart people who arent salesmen what are the real advantages of other fluids and which one should I use.

I am guilty of running cheap fluid also But i change it out alot so it doesnt bother me. I have heard that running transynd will make the tranny shift better but I hve never ran it to vouche for that

me too , i started out with transynd but had to dain it all to pull the trans back out and have been to cheep to spend another 180 bucks on fluid . but i will some day .

I was using CamII when I swapped trans. chattered like hell. after 3 changes with castrol, finally cleared up.

I got the Castrol stuff too. It was the only stuff I could find that had the HD spec on the quart. Pretty much the only reason I got it.
