    LMM & PPE Hot+2 Questions

I ran my LBZ at the 160 hp setting for a long time, its still kind of rough on the clutches, but i had it on there for probably three years and ran it hard a lot. So it wasn't too much of a surprise. I believe they do recommend trans upgrades for that setting but its just a shift kit i think...

    Shade tree mech

You will have a ton of work, i live outside of dickinson and all of the shops here are the same way. Eastern Montana isn't any better. As you know, lots of work for you to do. If i was a little more knowledgeable, i would love to do the same thing in my area.

    Blew a head gasket

Just coolant loss and a hard upper radiator hose. Never overheated, hasn't been run real hard except when passing. Boost has never been above 32 lbs. Just been daily driven, no towing in the last couple months. If you got any other ideas to check before i spend a bunch of money, i am all ears.

    Blew a head gasket

I am only running my PPE chip on #4, wasn't doing anything really just driving back and forth to work. Wasn't rodding it or anything. I really wondered why mine went. A friend of mine said it was normal for a diesel with over 100k, but he drives dodges and fords...

Question: Liftpump filters for winter months?

I have been running stanadyne in my truck since i bought it and haven't run into any problems, even when i put the 2 micron cat filter on the stock filter head. In my area it gets down to -30 quite often in the winter. Just run a good additive, run it in every fuel tank and you won't have any...

Anyone sleeping on a comforpedic bed???

I have a sleep number bed, I like it and so does the wife. Felt kind of stupid for paying as much as i did for a couple air mattresses, but it is nice. I had an off brand memory foam mattress and it was a different experience knocking boots with the old lady. They aren't bad though, we gave...
