LB7-LBZ sending unit

Currently pulling the 50 gal transferflow tank out of my Lb7, putting in a stock tank due to ground clearance... I have a 26 gal tank out of a LBZ, put my sending unit int he new stock tank, but still need the locking retaining ring. Have the new "green" O-ring. Was just wondering if the LB7-LMM sending units are the same??? Dont want issues putting a LBZ tank in my LB7 with a LB7 sending unit. Will post some pics soon to help verify..

I cant remember when I pulled my LBZ transferflow tank if the locking ring on the stock tank overlaps the grey part of the OEM sending unit and will also lock...

Mechanically i believe they are all interchangeable, but electronically they are different. I remember the lly and newer sensors not working when plugged into an lb7

Well, the locking "cam" ring I bought for my tank doesnt fit my LB7 sending unit...

Guess there is a difference in LB7 sending units...

The ohm's read opposite also, and just reuse the old steal ring if its not damaged....

well, from what I found out, LBZ tanks will not fit a LB7 sending unit.

Well, that too. But it seems like you have to work on that thing a lot. Swap me interior and then sell yours, get another lbz or lly and put a big single on it....no more problems for you
