I have a BD. It dropped my EGT's between 100* & 150*. I was not really planning on getting a new CAC, but I wanted to have something besides the stocker for the triples. :D- BlkMax

Towing/tranny ?
Just about any of the performance plug in boxes can smoke a tranny if you thrash the truck at the higher HP levels. Especially if you are towing. What you are talking about doing, rolling down the road and then mashing the throttle at highway speeds is about the worst thing you can do...- BlkMax

filtration and lift pump?
Looks like 2 years, with all of the regular disclaimers, etc. I bought mine used after a PPE refresh with a new motor and pump vanes. No warranty for me! :roflmao: The nice thing is that you can get replacement parts for the PPE pump (at least they advertise them on their site).- BlkMax

^^^X2 I used to run the PPE and a stock filter, but the stocker had to go for the triples. I added the CAT filters behind my PPE. The only real thing I did differently was to put a bypass valve (that I normally keep closed) around the PPE pump in case the pump died while I was on the road...- BlkMax

The Allison does not seal the output shaft, the seal to stop oil migration between the Alli and the transfer case is on the front input shaft of the transfer case.- BlkMax

Fuel filter housing
For the record, diesel fuel is one of the hardest liquids to keep in a pipe. I have pressure tested piping with water, put diesel in the line, and had leaks.
