I think that that is the only good thing banks has!! But I don't think the stockers are that bad themselves.

DTS sells a nice looking piece. Not sure what the price is but "if" i was to buy one I would consider DTS's to be a option

Caldwell , Oh
The only reason I am doing one is trying to keep my charged air a bit cooler for the sake of keeping my stock motor alive as long as possible .

I have a BD. It dropped my EGT's between 100* & 150*. I was not really planning on getting a new CAC, but I wanted to have something besides the stocker for the triples. :D

I have had great luck with BD , my banks was fine too , but the core was no where near as large as the BD . I plan to use one of the ones David ( DTS ) is selling and see how it is / compares.

Bd and Spearco are both good choices, i went with bd when i ran w2a because Spearco had cracking issues. I think they have since fixed that.

Banks has plastic end tanks that blow off with hi boost it is said out there on the other sites and that is possible for the super boost guys. It probably works for 90% of us but the other 10% who crank out over 60 psi would do better with a metal welded or cast end tank cooler. Cost is hi on Banks so I'd buy the cast endtank model because it's better and would take whatever. Good selling point on truck too when that comes around. My friends all consider the mods on the truck they buy and I guess I do too if it's used. These days you might find one where a truck guy is getting out of racing if you watch the garage sales columns on the diesel sites too. Good luck.

i have the banks inter-cooler on my pulling truck, definitely cast aluminum ends... and aluminum boost tubes... no plastic what-so-ever, can't imagine how little of pressure plastic ends would hold! :roflmao:
