    Quick question for opinions. Will an engine freeze/soft plug hold the heat of the up pipe. I cut my egr riser off and welded in a fairly thick engine freeze plug. The weld didnt melt it. Opinions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    You dont have to but it makes it so much easier and enjoyable to work on. Took about an hour to get the front out of the way. But i do this stuff for a living at a gm dealership. Some guys lift the body off the chassis too. Heres some more pics for fun.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Also im resealing the timing cover. How important is it to get all the new o-rings for the different things on it? Service info says replace them all. Also i understand the oil cooler is prone to leaking should i address that too or leave it be as its not leaking currently. Thanks guys Sent...

    This is what the deck looks like after wet sanding it with 600 grit. Think it will be ok? Also i can physically grab the pistons and rock them slightly back and forth. Should I worry about that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ok ill get some clr for the injector lines. And what kind of cleaner would i put in a cap for the injector? Brake clean? Trans fluid? Also what are you guys using to clean the block portion of the mating surface? Sand paper on a sanding block? Thanks guys. I just want to do this the right way...
