Question: Any suspension or shock experts out there?

Was asking the OP. Rear suspension improvements can definitely help ride. I'm running Deavers in the rear and my coilovers are tuned specifically for my truck. They are a single spring rate shock. My truck rides nice even with 37 m/t's. Thinking of running a set of long travel bags in the rear...

Question: Any suspension or shock experts out there?

Are you running Deavers or similar leafs in the rear? What type of coilovers are you running? Are the single rate or dual? Are your coilovers valved specifically for your truck, i.e. a duramax? Your truck is not going to ride like a 57 caddy.

    Any Mountain Bikers Here?

It definitely helps man. I was against road bikes and wearing the spandex shit. I picked up an Orbea Orca. I noticed a difference right away. With the bike being extremely light, less rolling mass with the tires. Being an mtb guy, I couldn't do the stupid spandex. I rode a 50+ miler on a windy...

    P0540 after full EGR delete

I hear ya. I even tried plugging the heater in. Setting it on a thin piece of plastic on the valve cover and started my truck. To see if the light would go out, after I reset the code with the heater plugged in. Yeah didn't get that far. As soon as I turned the ignition on. I heard a pop and...

    P0540 after full EGR delete

There might be a fault in the wiring harness or the grid heater itself. Did you tune it yourself?

    P0540 after full EGR delete

That code is caused only by the grid heater being deleted. I know I have had the same code for about two years now. Tried getting help from my tuner and I still have it. Going with a different tuner after I get my compounds done.
