    Nothing would have been nicer then a transmission from Mike, it just wasn't in the cards for me, and with the shudder I was getting, I wouldn't have tried to risk a trip from Canada to Mike...as much as I would have loved to make the trip lol.

    Think it was around 4-5k. it was a long time ago now lol. I think to do the same build now would cost about 7k with our craptastic dollar where it is.

    Cardboard may be a better choice just so the forklift doesn't "push" the box itself.

    Build it so they can't break it. Heavy duty skid and plywood enclosure. Freight companies love to destroy expensive stuff, so make sure you put insurance on it for the full value in case it goes missing. Crushed, ****ed, or lost seems to be the moto of the freight industry these days.

    Well, it took long enough, but serviced the trans today and put the stock TCM file back in and had a tech do the relearn. Day and night difference.
