    DPF Buyers

At one time some cats were bringing 40 a piece. Scrapping them for the platinum, palladium, rodhium. There making some kind of soldering rods with the material for electronics. At least that's what I was told from a guy.

Ac problem fixed and maybe more????

No I didn't. But I couldn't even suck up a paper towel it idle. That's when we changed fan clutch and at same time I backed flushed the radiator with water. Saw clean water coming out. And flushed the condenser the same way. And water was shooting threw both of them and threw the intercooler. So...

    LLY: LLY Got Hot!!!!!

Did the fan ever lock in when it got hot? My lb7 would get hot with a clean stack until I changed the fan clutch. If it doesn't sound like a school bus fan when it's hot the clutch is bad.

I think I have Theft lock problems

If it's like mine it's in the cylinder. Cylinder sends proper ohms to ecm to start truck. This was on a gasser. Google key relearn procedure. Actually I think it's a sticky here somewhere. Also check battery cables. Loose or not.

Salutations from OR (the wet side)

That doesn't sound like it's worth the effort unless you had to do head gaskets then. I thought I read somewhere on here they where more restrictive than that.

    Speedometer to Allison

When there thinner that means shorter also in metric. 265/75/16. 265mm width tread. 75 percent of 265 is the hieght of side wall. So dropping to a 245/75/16 it will be shorter. My Matco modus says it can adjust for tire height. Maybe find someone with one. Which part of Florida are you in?

Ac problem fixed and maybe more????

Well shit. I don't know guys. Can't get it to act up today. Sat for 3 hours and pressures where fine. 275/55 in a hot cab. Low side was slowly falling. Wife said it blew ice cold all day. I'll just have to keep an eye on it. Thanks for all the help. The fan clutch has seem to have fixed some of...

    LLY: F*****G brake lines

Never thought about rusty brake lines failing. We don't have that problem in Texas lol. Glad you didn't wreck. No brakes suck. Wife lost an idler pully last week and she almost went off a cliff without power steering and no brakes.

Ac problem fixed and maybe more????

Stack is clean. I washed it out when I did fan clutch. I've only had it for 4 months. Not sure if it's been flushed. It did have dye so someone has done something. Funny thing is this morning all was good. Pressures perfect blowing ice cold. But if it sits when it's a 100 starts building to...

Ac problem fixed and maybe more????

In my opinion you have check pressures at idle. But I'm not an ac expert reason why I'm here lol. But I have seen a compressor turn like normal and be bad. But I would start like mine with air flow. At idle you should be able to suck a paper towel up to the grill. If it doesn't the clutch and...

Ac problem fixed and maybe more????

Yep. I get ice cold lines post orrfice tube all the way to the suction of the compressor. And I cleaned orrfice tube yesterday. Dripping with oil and dye. Starting to think the condenser is full of oil and trash. And again. I did wash the condenser and radiator out when fan was pulled.

Ac problem fixed and maybe more????

Thanks for the replies. And I agree with them. But the difference is it will no blow cold until it warms up or cycles after that it's fine.

And pressure should never hit 475 on a he high side. Unless I'm clueless loll.

Ac problem fixed and maybe more????

Testing it when it happens. When it sits pressure goes up to 475 when high pressure cuts off compressor until it evens out after a few cycles then it evens out. To the normal pressures. It's just weird it's fine after a couple minutes. Going to pull the consider tomorrow and see how much oil is...
