I talked to my nsa again today and he said that they have about 25 trucks on order, all have been built, all have vin # s, but no invoices. no invoices, no estatmated time of delivery! He was told that they were all on hold to be shipped because the feds now what them all smog tested before... -

No, a National sales director. He also said none of the 3000+ trucks have bee issued invoices either, mine included. so something is up. he said they always issue an invoice with the vin numbers. -

I just talked to my local stealership guy in Reno Nv, and he told me that the truck I ordered back in November has been built and has passed quality control including a vin#, but now the feds want it and the 3000+ other trucks waiting to be shipped to be smogged!!! He told me it could be a huge... -

Does anyone know what the new emissions of L5Ps after treatment architecture is? Does it still have a ninth injector at the DOC/DPF, or is it now all def fluid treated? I know it now has two DOC systems (diesel oxidation catalyst) one after the turbo and one in combo with the DPF at the rear of... -

Ford will keep running those ads all the way to the bank, cause they know gm won't do anything about it. I doubt that fords torque numbers are SAE legitimate anyways, How could gms hp be more with less torque? I guess Its all about who gets there first and gm waited to long again.... -

Serious problems? Not a bad idea to wait awhile anyway, new designs usually tend to have some issues. I'm holding off until late next year at the earliest or just order an18 myself. It sure would be nice to know what the hell is really going on though! -

I think GM is just trying to get rid of as many of the 16's as they can, otherwise why the hold up on ordering? Not to many folks will buy a 16 once they let the hp/torque #s out of the bag on the 17's, unless of course the numbers don't warrant all the frickin waiting and or the sticker price... -

Just talked to my local stealership and all they know is that Gms 2016 diesel truck production will go into late November, early December, but no news on when ordering the 2017s will start. We probably won't know any more about the 17s until the Texas state fair Starts and that won't be untill... -

Makes sense for all that heat shielding and the cold air intake/hood scoop, all that under the hood heat would really kill performance, especially under load...
