anyone know the size of the o-rings for the LBZ intake bridge/elbow?

I wrecked mine and would rather not pay GM 25$ for a new one when Im sure I can get them for 2 dollars from mcmaster-carr. I tried the local hard ware store and they didnt have any that were the right size...

bump...Todd did you find the o-rings at a local hardware store? I wonder if a NAPA would have them? I checked two hardware stores and they didnt have any that were the right size.

The ones that I got were much smaller and fatter and I just streched them and they worked perfect. Might try a heavy equipment shop too.

just looked around....still couldnt find any. Do you guys think I would be ok with only 1 o-ring and some of the GM RTV stuff??? Id like to put my truck back together rather than have it sit as-is for 2 days (doubt anything will be open on memorial day) because of a 2 dollar piece of rubber.

Not sure who would have one, but I used to have a kit to make o-rings. the material came on rolls and with the chemicals to melt the ends together. I would think it would be ok with 1 for a little bit, as long as you r plan on fixing it when you can get one.

LB7 and LLY intake bridges share the same bolt center locations and are interchangeable with runners. LBZ/LMM share the same bolt center aross the top as the LB7/LLY, but the bottom to top dimension is different. I dont know how you are getting away with a standard round O-ring, as the stock units are rectangle .250"x.115".

I dont know if you guys are still interested but Russ has finished the jigs for all the y-bridges and is going to be making. I dont know how soon but they are ones he posted pictures of in SIKDMAXs build thread.

Guess you saw I finished both jigs in the pic:cool2:? I just finished the LBZ jig last night! I had to buy a minimum of three CNC'd LBZ/LMM flange sets, to keep the cost from being doubled. Im not going to be able to knock them out, until after the NHRDA race on the 3rd though.

The round o-ring talk is about the y-bridge neck on a LLY, LBZ, or LMM

The red one is a lb7 y bridge with a 2/-1/2" pipe welded to use for a lly without emissions. The lly y bridge is very restricted in stock form compared to a lb7.the inside of these intakes are only 2-1/4" stock

Ok, found a part number for a LB7 y bridge...however it does not turn out like the red one above. It just goes straight up.

Look at this:
