So i figured i've seen quite a few tractors, combines, forage harvesters, etc. Lets make a thread about em eh? We surely have enough member to make it a decent thread for all the city dwelling masses to view and go "oooo.....awwww"

Our farm is strictly Corn/Soybeans, no animals, no wheat, pumpkins or anything else of that sort. Soybeans have been on their way out the door for a long time as we only have about 100acres of them planned for 09.

Anyway...

Sorry for the huge post i resized all images to 1024x768 so they'd load a little better, and if its in the wrong spot, sorry...but it seems like this would fit into the chit-chat part.

Post em if you got em!

how much hay or straw do you all do a year??? by the looks of some of your loads, quite a bit!

I sure wish I'da had a chance to get to do some farming growing up... land is so expensive, I can't see myself ever getting a chance to really own a farm of any substantial size worthy of farming on. :( Would love to dabble in hay/straw, cattle and/or goats though.

East-Central Illinois here, bout an hour from Remington, IN.

Mind me askin your farm name aggar? I know Wheatland Elevator Co. bought an elevator here and it turns out its a side business for Fair Oaks Farms (huge dairy you've probably heard of in indiana), also know of Pilstick Farms that do a massive amount of sileage in southern, IN.

Hope one day (before im 35-40) to have 5-6,000 acres under my belt since my brother will also be in the farm again once he retires from the USAF and it'll be easier to finance ground and new equipment :D until then i'll just keep prayin to hit the same 6 mega millions numbers that they draw LOL.

Kedep them coming guys!, I love farm equipment. I work For Caterpillar on construction equipment for a living but if there was enough farming around here I would much rather work on farming stuff.
