You don't even want to start me on pigs  Raised some for FFA a couple of years. Freaked people out when I would feed them Milk and barley. It was free :D The last set I had where escape artists. Got my ass chewed good when they escaped went to the dairy next door rooted up his front lawn and then put themselves back in their pen:rofl:

Fair Oaks runs a pretty good sized sileage operation for the midwest being so broken up as well, think they have 10,000acres of sileage or close to it. They bought our elevator just across the indiana border, and now that they see the different rules illinois has setup they wanna sell em to another person because there too strict :p

I work on a little farm here in Upstate New York. 975 milking. Rotary parlor. 3,000 acres. All green farm. I will try to get some pics. We raised a couple of pigs. They lived on treated cow milk and corn. Sure did make them taste good.

I work for one of the largest Delaval dealers in the US! I work on all makes and models, scurge/wesfailure, Boumatic, and so on, Plus all the ones Delaval owns, Universal, Germania, Blue Diamond, not to mention all the brands that are out of business!! Im not saying every brand dosent have some good stuff and some bad but when you work on them all you appriciate whats good and what isnt;)!

Hey thats Cargill in Gilman isnt it?!?! I hauled a bunch of wheat there last summer and a few beans. I drive a truck for Dawson Farm Center over in Morocco, In. Ill be at good ole incobrasa tomarrow.......:( ugh. I actually live right next to the fair oaks dairy too. I live three miles east of the 220. It was kinda neat at first but during silage season and when their putting on shit it gets really really old. Been around farming all my life and it is definantly a tough but rewarding lifestyle.

Noone has posted in here for a while and I'd like to see this thread come back to life!!

I don't have my own ground yet but I help my grandpa with the little that he does anymore (about 200 acres).
Here's a picture last year of the JD 7700 we use.

Here's a video of the IH 1066 disking last year while the IH 3588 was getting the injection pump worked on.

It's not much and I know its not enough to make a lot of money on but I sure do enjoy helping my grandpa with what he has and I hope I can get my own someday soon.

Hows everyone handling the drought? It's hitting us awful hard here in southeast iowa, and the surrounding tri-state area.

Lol-Anymore they pretty much just drive themselves! Once your A-B line is set, all you really need is 50+ lbs on the seat and they will drive more straight than I could ever do myself
