Alright so heres the deal, Ive got an 04 LB7 and other than my transfer case slipping when i get really stuck. Ive never had drive train issues until today. LB7: Brake pedal slow return/ PS flushing?

Ok so i just changed my pads, rotors, and bled the brakes and my pedal stiffened up a little but not a ton. Not to mention theres a ton of gunk in the brake fluid reservoir so i might take it off and clean it. But my main issue is my pedal has some slop in it when your first press it and its...

    Lift install complications

Im putting my 6" zone lift on my truck and everything has gone pretty smooth....that is until now. I have the front and rear NEW differential drop down brackets installed..and it was kinda a bitch to get the front diff in. I had to jack on the diff quite a bit to get the back holes to line up...

    Lower control arm bushings

Well I got the old ones out no problem using a little ingenuity and a ball joint press. But, its getting new ones in that I'm worries about, and I've only found new bushings that don't have the metal sleeve pressed into them...and thats the problem. I want to find ones that have the metal sleeve...

Pinching pennies on front end suspension/ steering replacement, Help?

Good to know, And the CVs are fairly cheap, and I'm all about preventative maintenance. So i figured id change em now while I'm in there, they have almost 140,000 miles on em, and i noticed the boots are starting to rot out. They have some cracks and what not in em

Pinching pennies on front end suspension/ steering replacement, Help?

Pinching pennies on front end suspension/ steering replacement, Help?

Which control arms do you recommend? I don't think ive seen any for 90 bucks, plus im still going to change the lower ball joints and bushings. I did notice the uppers are hollow and spot welded whereas the lowers are solid cast

Pinching pennies on front end suspension/ steering replacement, Help?

Its not that I can't afford it, Its more like I'm just trying to save money, and was more curious to know what parts should be UPGRADED before the others. None of the steering/ suspension components are damage on my truck, just a few torn boots. It just makes more sense to change them now while...

Pinching pennies on front end suspension/ steering replacement, Help?

well, If i just do all stock parts. and not upgrade them. Ive been able to price it out around 300-400 which is reasonable. I guess the better question is what parts are more of a priority to upgrade than others lol

Alrighty folks, so I've got an 04 lb7. I just bought my ZONE 6" lift kit today and itl be here on thursday. Heres my issue, I know I need to change the ball joints. Im the type of mentality to fix everything at once, cheaper and less time consuming. But.....Do i go with some cheapo kit for...
