Nope Not true, false advertiseing right there^^^

I've seen the Arias pistons on a scale next to the Wiseco's, many differences, not just in weight, but design and material/ coatings. Because of these advancements Wiseco says there good for the street/strip engine too!

Edit: I didnt realize this was a arias piston only thread, carry on.

Well the Arias are proven... Not to say the Wiseco are not as good or even better.

How is the ring life with the wiseco? Why are they good for street or strip?

Well, I only have visual expirence. However I Know Wade @ NGM and he has been developing these for a few years and every record and championship was set with these in his truck. Thats race track proven. I know many of his customers have them running in there street/ strip engines.

As for the finer details you should call him about that.

Sorry, but I'm not going to call Wade about anything. I'll send an email to Wiseco, but knowing Wade has run them doesn't make me want them any more or any less. From what I've seen, anything Wade is currently running is the best until he has a falling out with the company.

Arias piston

Arias would have no reason to run a oval bowl. To my knowledge there has never been a broken piston from them. Not sure if anyone has melted one or not but strength is not a problem. My pistons I think were 748 grams so however that figures in is were there at.

I run the Arias pistons now. They are a good piston from what I know and have experienced. The Billet pistons from Weisco should be a good piston as well. Neither are for extended daily driving use. I really like the open bowl design of the Arias piston as well. It requires the tuning to be a little different versus a conventional designed piston.

LOL, I understand, he has had some issue's with lift pump MFG's that for sure. But at his power level you cant blame him for moveing to better equipment.

Call Wiseco thay can set you up, but NGM is a Master WD and likely could hook you up. Its all about money these days. BTW NGM started with arias pistons, said there a great product, but as technology gets better, so should pistons. Thats why they developed these with Wiesco.

I'll stick to my Mahle Race cast Finger's Oval pistons for now. Until I actually have a failure I see no reason to change, why fix what isn't broken?
