he was very early in the game and also did some really dumb stuff that added to the cost. I believe that truck is sitting in Calgary and belongs to Curtis.

Yes the truck without engine is in Calgary. Customs on the border can be sticky...... people with no brains and lots of power, who like to use it because they can. They wouldn't let it cross the border, something about the engine being too modified. It looked too radical. Instead of just going back and taking off all the "built" looking stuff to make the engine look more stock, the guy tried a different border crossing. But he'd been put on a blocked list and they wouldn't let him across either. Now he was screwed......on a permanent shit list and no way the truck would ever be allowed across under any circumstance. So he shipped engine/trans to the US and sold the truck to Curtis.

Really? I believe you but in reality it's hard to believe. Perhaps there is a shit ton left out of the story? I'm just saying as long as what ever it is being declared "as" is as and it's value why would it be denied? For example documents said it was a motorcycle! Could have been as a in op? Like I said I believe you but there's a big hole missing in the reason! Looking to radical? Unless it was all the cheesy exterior glue ons?

Jon had the first set, they were pretty ugly and but worked well on his LB7. Nathan was trying to get him to led him his truck so he could use it to build the jigs. That didn't happen so on Nathan's way home from Canada seeing his girl friend he stopped by my place here in Oregon and swapped trucks with me and drove mine back to Boise and built the twins. As I said, I thought Nathan used Rob's truck to prototype the LLY twins, I know it was either Rob or Chad. They were actually before my LB7. And yes Mack I meant for public sale. He used my truck to build the jigs then built production twins off of those for sale. This is the first set off of my 02 GMC CC/SB

I'm going to try and boot up my old laptop and see if I can find those pictures later this week. I was going to do it tomorrow but forgot it at the office. I hope I have them!
Might even have naked or semi nude pics of Nicks old girlfreind too!:roflmao:

And please let's be reasonable.... No returns guys:roflmao:

WOOOOOO how did I miss this? There will be a company policy of 20 % re certification return fee of the certification you won't receive as a buyer after all would you want a used unused return resold with out it? How do we know what has been done to it before the buyer even got it alone with what the buyer had done with it!

I got a call wanting to know what all was needed to do a motor swap in the truck, so it could be up and running again. I was told the same story back then!

Like I said I believe you were told that it just would seem to me that something is missing. Please don't misinterpret that, I believe you!

It could be as simple as paper work and the person trying to get the truck across was not to smart and instead of correcting it went to a different crossing and was black listed. I've heard of that happening.
What I don't get is the heavily modified. Should have if the case shipped as a in op. Hard to believe people are that ,well you pick a word, and screwed themselves. Thats probably the whole thing shipped as a in op.

By the way I export to Canada so I'm familiar with the process. Maybe that's why I find it so dumbfounding? I agree with Tom ,crazy!

An engine compartment full of big turbos and piping and stuff, the thing didn't look anywhere near stock and emission legal. It is what it is, you're trying to make it more.

I grant Mackin the "biggest hard-on over dumb shit award for 2012." Only a couple hours left I think he can clinch it.

Hadn't Keith gone back and forth to Canada a bunch of times without problem? Why would they stop him all of a sudden. All that piping had been there for years.
