Dan, What sponsors are you asking about on Mr. Hall's Truck???
Are you asking because he has stickers on the truck for some of the products that he has bought or possibly the stickers that PPL and other organizations make him run for the events???
There are stickers on that thing that support the other companies that make parts that he uses... The only sticker on that truck that helped with some fuel money was the NuTech Seed Sticker. There were no companies that sponsored Rob's Truck including my past employer.

X2! I must've forgot about all my engine sponsors. Ive had a few companys make me good deals, but nothing had been paid for or given to me. Maybe a couple grand worth, still over 20k short of 38k easy.

Haisleys like most pullers use an engine dyno. It's a tuning tool. Only way you can make it accurate. That 1200 HP is on fuel only, with a 2.6 turbo. Not a twinned 3.6 with n20. Huge difference. Is guess mines in the ballpark cause I run well against them.

I had the first production set for LB7's. Nathan used mine to build the jigs for the first generation of LB7 twins. Rob had the first set for LLY's, and Juice had the first set period the proto type. I know that Rob's and mine are still running. Mine being world travelers, first Oregon then Finland now Alaska.:thumb: Rob's are in Hawaii still on his old LLY. That seem like a 100 years ago but it was only 6. Lots has happened since then for sure.

I thought Chad Simper had the first LLY set of Nathans twins. He brought it straight to me after Nathan built the prototype. I was not allowed to let anyone look under the hood while it was at my shop. It ran like shit because there was no tuning for it. This was early '05.

Mike you might be right, forgot about Chad. But I thought he used Rob's truck to prototype because it was available there in Boise.

I think Subby is saying Production set as in ready for public sales not first set after rereading his post. ;)

Jon had the first set, they were pretty ugly and but worked well on his LB7. Nathan was trying to get him to led him his truck so he could use it to build the jigs. That didn't happen so on Nathan's way home from Canada seeing his girl friend he stopped by my place here in Oregon and swapped trucks with me and drove mine back to Boise and built the twins. As I said, I thought Nathan used Rob's truck to prototype the LLY twins, I know it was either Rob or Chad. They were actually before my LB7. And yes Mack I meant for public sale. He used my truck to build the jigs then built production twins off of those for sale. This is the first set off of my 02 GMC CC/SB

Yup, I still get parts from him all the time. He has a new baby, and is also making custom gun parts, but his guys are still fabbing away. He stays away from the Net BS, just like a few others.

I know he posted a pic on fb the other day of a super nasty set of triples. It was a gtx45 with two 480s feeding it:eek: looked awesome.

Price seems to be the factor there but im surprised how even their prices have rose from when they first started building kits

Each of their prices are fairly close. On triples within 400 bucks. More people are going with the person that can fill the order quicker or that they feel more comfortable with.
