That's no shit, doesn't bother me though, I was broke out with the saying whatever it takes no matter what, I learned from dumb ****s that doesn't work for everyone but I still push myself til I loose my mind some days.

It's all about safety now until you start talking money then that shits out the window, works fine for me, just tell my guys to go away and do the dumb shit myself, seen too many guys wiped out and ****ed up to make anyone else do dumb shit.

You'd be surprised the crap that happens around work, the subtle threats and "gotchas" that they pull. Its all about production and cost anymore.
Employees (and customers) are not valued in the least, only profits are. Wish the company never went public. It f*cked everything up for everybody.

Thanks for all the well wishes, guys.

It's a bummer to hear that I always heard UPS was a great employer, seeings most drivers I talked to had been there the better part of their life.. Unfortunately a lot of companies are pushing production/numbers over safety. I'm fortunate to work for a company that puts safety well above everything else, even to the point of inhibiting myself and others to do our job. If a manager ever "called" out an employee in front of others that manager would be gone same day guaranteed.

Glad to hear you're ok. Someone's gotta deliver all the packages coming out of my building :D

AZ, dont get me wrong....I love what I do. Just the "politics" have gotten out of hand, and crappy little things like that happen all too often nowadays. In other words, typical of corporate America. But I remember a different way of doing things from years ago. In many ways it was much better than now.
I was really hoping I could've worked with the safety committee to speak to the workgroup about the experience, as a lot of my coworkers have the same issues. It worries me how many dont get it checked out.

I appreciate all the work you guys send our way.

Tom I got our UPS bill at work the other day for the month of may and almost fell over...we ship alot of chit but not near what we used to. When I saw a 5 digit number that started with a 9 I was gasping. I guess we used to ship close to 1500 packages a day just from our caper facility. I sure wish that was the case now

Im sorry to hear that. Wish I was in a position to do something about it.

I better shut up now before some spook does a google looking for disgruntledness (I just made that word up) so they can fire someone.

It has happened.

Leased a new shop for my hydrographics! Came with a hoist and a lift, it used to be a body/performance shop until the owner outgrew its 2800 sq ft.
Nice dry air from the compressor and I already have the LMM on the lift! It's a nerve racking step for me but how will I ever know how it will go if I never put myself out there!

Baked three headlights. 2 are going back on the LMM and one is for my shop display along with some wheels and a resonator and cups ETC. I have a some jobs lined up this weekend 2 rifles, an AR, 2 bumpers and a bunch of cups! I was gonna do my tails but I think I'll just run over those with a dark clear coat.

I got back in from my last trip on Thursday night, unloaded the boat in New Bedford early Friday morning & steamed it back to the boats home port on the Cape.
The captain took the trip off to go to Bermuda for the Americas cup races, so me being the 1st mate I got to take the boat for the third time this year

Trip was 10 days dock to dock, 7 days fishing east of New Jersey, landed just over 10k lbs of scallops
I wish I could've stayed another 2 1/2 days to get the 14,400lbs we were allowed to catch but we were running low on fresh water, ice & had a gradually worsening leak on one of the aftercooler pipes

Been a busy year for me like the last couple years so I don't get on here like I used to & haven't done much to the Xcab other than drive it to the boat
