Seen 2 big horn, a badger and a herd of elk while travel east on 84.

Well after owning my own plumbing business for the last 27 years and been doing plumbing for the last 36 years, I retired Wednesday. I retired from doing the hard, dirty, rewarding most of the time, installation of plumbing. I am now a plumbing inspector for the City of Los Angeles, as of May 1st. It was a two year process to be hired. I'm still processing this. The unfortunate thing is saying good buy to some great customers and a couple of contractors that I sub-contracted to for the last 25-27years. My body was getting tired, sore and beat up. I'm looking forward to this huge new change in my life.

Well I still have all my original body parts through the years. I know I'm answering to the man but I just need to put 10 years in and I will be fully vested to permanently retire after this.

Yea money is good just gotta have a plan otherwise you'll be over here forever. I've seen guys making close to 200k a year live paycheck to paycheck out here

Side note have been extending diplomatic relations to the kids around here

I enjoyed driving around Mid Michigan again, being an elf. Same as usual.
I did say hello to my "clone" today, though. Cute kid. :hehe: This child on the route dressed up as me for Halloween last year. It was a pretty cool compliment.

I'm trying to only be over here another year I just bought the wife a car and next is some property and building a house after that I'm done.

Had a big box of each flavor flew low and tossed them out any time we saw kids now they wave instead of throw rocks haha

Another year sounds like a lifetime but the cash flow that can be accomplished sounds worth it
